Bow Valley College’s expansion & redevelopment of their North Campus building is a highly complex project affecting all facets of the organization. The project involved the complete renovation and redevelopment of a 1960 era seven-storey building, undertaken and completed while the building was occupied and with minimal impact on the day-to-day business operations and teaching activities of the College. Construction of this project started in September of 2006 and culminated in a grand opening on May 26th, 2010. The project was delivered on time and on budget. The project added 6,830 square metres of space and provided 480 additional classroom seats as well as other learner services. Phase 2 of the redevelopment consists of the development of a new seven-storey building located on the existing Block 40 Provincial Courthouse site. This new development is currently under construction and will provide new student learning facilities, administrative offices and support services for Bow Valley College.
